Nets Draft Workouts: June 11

Nets Draft Combine Thursday Roster

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Tuesday at the PNY Center, the Nets opened their 2013 pre-draft workouts with a six-player group that included three potential First-Round selections. Kansas center Jeff Withey – the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year – showed off an expanded pick-and-pop game that could become an NBA asset, while Ray McCallum attempted to show the basketball IQ he developed as a coach's son is only part of an NBA-ready package. Pac-12 Player of the Year Allen Crabbe had his workout cut short by injury – "Just a little tweak in my foot. Nothing too serious." – but remained confident that teams including the Nets are aware of his skill set. Crabbe said he'll continue to attend workouts while treating the injury "day-to-day."
