Nets Draft Combine: Day Two
The Nets, in conjunction with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers, hosted a draft combine at the PNY Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Day Two featured 22 more players participating in two sessions, with positional drill work leading into an extensive 5-on-5 sessions in front of executives and coaches from all 30 NBA teams.
Players in the morning session included Oregon's Arsalan Kazemi, the first Iranian-born player in Division I and Peyton Siva, point guard for National Champion Louisville, as well as Brooklyn natives Demetrius Conger (St. Bonaventure) and A.J. Matthews (D-III Farmingdale State). In the second session, Baylor guard Pierre Jackson impressed with his floor game, Brandon Paul of Illinois spent time chatting up alumnus Deron Williams, and Kansas swingman Travis Releford utilized experience gained while playing alongside current Net Tyshawn Taylor in college.
