Nets Assign Shengelia and Taylor to D-League's Springfield Armor

Brooklyn, NY – The Brooklyn Nets have assigned forward Tornike Shengelia and guard Tyshawn Taylor to the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by General Manager Billy King.

In 15 games this season, Shengelia is averaging 1.4 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game. Taylor has played in 20 games (three starts) this season, averaging 4.3 points and 1.8 assists in 12.7 minutes per game.

In two D-League games this season, Shengelia is averaging 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while Taylor holds averages of 9.0 points and 4.0 assists. They will join the team in advance of their game on Wednesday against the Reno Bighorns at the NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nevada.
