Nets Basketball Launches its
First-Ever Music Program


Students from Rosa L. Parks School of Fine & Performing Arts
in Paterson, N.J. to Create NETS Related Songs

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – NETS Basketball is launching its first-ever music program for 15 students from Rosa L. Parks School of Fine & Performing Arts in Paterson, NJ.

The two-month program consists of four activities at various music studios, in which the students, ages 14-17, will learn from a songwriter, vocal coach, and producer. The final activity will feature the students recording their original NETS related song with the skills they learned during the program. That song will be heard on www.njnets.com .

In their first activity, the students will take a lesson from a songwriter, who will conduct the class at Rosa L. Parks School, 413 12th Avenue in Paterson on Monday, January 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. NETS player Josh Boone will join the students and take part in the lesson.
