PRESIDENT, ONEXIM SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT HOLDING USA, INC.
Irina Pavlova was appointed President of Onexim Sports and Entertainment Holding USA, Inc. in May 2010. Through Onexim Sports & Entertainment, Mikhail Prokhorov is the principal owner of Brooklyn Nets and holds a 45 percent ownership of Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the sports and entertainment venue to be the home of the Nets beginning for the 2012-13 NBA season.
Based in New York City, Pavlova serves as the conduit between Nets management and team ownership, ensuring the franchise has everything necessary to build a championship team. She also coordinates all necessary activity regarding Barclays Center with Forest City Ratner Companies, the developer of the venue. Pavlova serves on the Boards of Directors of Brooklyn Nets and Brooklyn Arena LLC.
Prior to joining Onexim Sports and Entertainment, Pavlova was head of Google's Strategic Partnerships in Russia, where she was Google's first employee, helping to establish the company's operations. Earlier, she served as an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Wentworth, Hauser and Violich, where she focused on small cap equities. She began her career as a financial analyst with Prudential Investment Corporation.
Pavlova grew up in Moscow and Washington D.C. as the daughter of a Russian diplomat. She has an M.B.A. from Stanford University, an M.A. and B.A. from Moscow Linguistics University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
