FRED MANGIONE
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Entering his 12th season with the NETS, Fred Mangione supervises a staff of more than 60 employees and manages the overall marketing business and ticket sales. Mangione is responsible for the successful development and implementation of strategic vision, tactical sales plans, and related performance metrics, branding, and consumer marketing campaigns.
Additionally, Mangione oversees ticket sales, luxury suite sales, and marketing for Barclays Center, the NETS new home in Brooklyn beginning for the 2012-13 NBA season.
Mangione will play a key role in the transformation of the team brand from New Jersey to Brooklyn and played a key role launching the All Access ticket campaign for the Barclays Center in spring of 2011.
Mangione joined the NETS in 1999, as Director of Ticket Sales and has worked his way up the ranks to his current position. As Vice President of Sales, his team set revenue records that still stand today.
Prior to joining the NETS, Mangione was the Director of Sales for the 1999 Women's World Cup Giants Stadium venue. Under his direction, over 78,000 seats were sold, making it the biggest non-football event ever attended at Giants Stadium.
Mangione started his career in minor league sports, selling tickets and working in marketing for minor league hockey and Arena Football.
A native of Jefferson, New Jersey, Mangione received his Bachelor of Science degree in business management and marketing from Centenary College.
He resides in Glen Rock, New Jersey with his wife Jennifer, daughter Madeline, and son Mason.
