BROOKLYN (October 14, 2013) – The Brooklyn Nets have implemented a new digital ticketing system for season ticket holders that offers greater flexibility when attending games and distributing tickets. The technologically advanced digital card also serves as a personalized membership to the Brooklyn Nets Rewards program, a new loyalty program that is piloting this season for All Access ticket holders. The Nets are the New York area’s first team of the four major professional sports leagues to offer a rewards points program for season ticket holders.

As part of the digital ticketing program, all season ticket holders receive a card that is pre-loaded with corresponding ticket locations, instead of getting traditional paper tickets. The card serves as admission to all home games and is swiped using a hand-held computer by a ticket attendant at Barclays Center entrance points. Guests will then receive a seat locator tab for each ticket stored on the digital card. The tab is then used as the ticket for the game once inside of the arena.

“We are thrilled to offer a digital ticketing system and Brooklyn Nets Rewards loyalty program to enhance our guests’ experience,” said Fred Mangione, CMO and Chief Revenue Officer of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center. “Not only do these new programs boost the customer service experience, they also continue our efforts to be the most technologically advanced arena in the world.”

Brooklyn Nets Rewards is designed to thank All Access season ticket holders by offering them the opportunity to earn points redeemable for exclusive rewards and experiences throughout the year. The more active All Access season ticket holders are with the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center, the more points they earn to redeem once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as a Ballboy Experience, leading the team to the court with BrooklyKnight, attending a private team practice, and enjoying a game in the Owner’s Suite with 29 friends.

With their digital card, season ticket holders continue to have access to the online account management system, which allows users to conveniently print, forward, or sell tickets. In addition to the digital card and the option to print tickets, the Brooklyn Nets are also introducing mobile ticket entry for season ticket holders and individual ticket holders allowing all ticket holders to use their mobile device to gain entry to a game.

In an effort to ease the transition to digital tickets, Brooklyn Nets season ticket holders have received an informational brochure in the mail. Information is also available online at,, 1-800-4NBA-TIX, and the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center are the safest, most secure and only Nets-authorized destination to purchase Brooklyn Nets tickets.
