Andre Brown, Nets General Manager
Billy King announced today.  Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not released.  The signings complete the team’s training camp roster.

Gill, 6’1”/235, is a seven-year NBA veteran with career averages of 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 10.9 minutes in 187 career games with New Jersey, Memphis, Portland, Indiana, Seattle and Milwaukee.  He has shot .361 (179-496) from the field and .847 (150-177) from the line.  Gill was selected as the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Development League Draft by the Colorado 14ers.  Gill averaged 18.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 2.2 steals in 38.4 minutes with Colorado and was selected to the 2008 D-League All-Star team.

Brown, 6’9”/245, is a three-year NBA veteran with career averages of 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.0 minutes in 75 career games with Seattle, Memphis and Charlotte.  He has shot .516 (82-159) from the field and .500 (33-66) from the line.  Brown was selected with the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA D-League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce and was named D-League Performer of the Week for December 18, 2006.  He led the league in scoring with 22.8 points per game, and was second in rebounding at 10.8 boards per game.  This is Brown’s second stint with the Nets as he signed as a free agent with New Jersey on October 4, 2004 and was then waived on October 20, 2004.
