Nets Mourn the Loss of Levern Tart

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Nets Basketball mourns the loss of former ABA player Levern Tart, who died at the age of 68.A two-time ABA All Star, Tart was a member of the New Jersey Americans in their inaugural ABA season in 1967-68. Overall, Tart played four seasons in the ABA, spending at least parts of each with the Nets franchise. In 274 career ABA games, the former Bradley All-American averaged 19.4 points 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
