NETS Waive Jerry Smith and JamesOn Curry

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.— The New Jersey Nets have requested waivers on guards Jerry Smith and JamesOn Curry, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today. Both players were signed to the training camp roster on December 9th and came to the Nets from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Springfield Armor.
In their lone preasesaon appearance with the Nets, Smith scored one point in three minutes of action, while Curry scored two points in three minutes.
