NETS Name Schwartz VP of Partnership Sales, Promote Pruss

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—NETS Basketball has named Andrew Schwartz as Vice President of Partnership Sales and has promoted Josh Pruss to Vice President of Partnership Marketing.
Schwartz and Pruss will report to Chris Brahe, the Senior Vice President of Partnership Sales & Marketing.
Schwartz joins the NETS after serving for three years as Account Director of Advertising Sales and Director of Sports Marketing for Sirius XM Radio in New York. He was instrumental in creating and customizing advertising and marketing opportunities for an array of Fortune 500 brands to reach 20 million Sirius XM subscribers. He also shepherded strategic marketing partnerships with Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, PGA TOUR, the Boston Red Sox, and all six Bowl Championship Series (BCS) Conferences.
In his new role, Schwartz will be responsible for overseeing all new sales efforts for NETS Basketball, as well as selling sponsorships for the NETS for the team’s last season in New Jersey and for when the team relocates to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, starting in the 2012-13 NBA season.
Pruss earned his promotion after three and a half years in the NETS’ Partnership Marketing department, including the last year as Managing Director. In his new post, Pruss will maintain and foster partner relations and continue to lead and develop strategic growth of the corporate partnership platform for the NETS. In addition, Pruss will oversee the transition to the Barclays Center for current partners.
