East Rutherford, N.J.— Tickets to the 2009 NETS preseason game against the Philadelphia 76ers on the campus of St. John’s University in Queens, NY are on sale TODAY, Tuesday, September 8. The game will be held on Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.

Tickets are available at the St. John’s box office, by calling 888-GO-STORM, or at redstormsports.cstv.com. St. John’s students who show a valid student ID can purchase tickets for $20 each.

“We expect wide support in Queens when we move to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in the 2011-12 season, so this game will provide a special in-person preview to many new fans,” said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. “We are excited about the opportunity to continue to further regionalize the franchise and we look forward to an exciting game against one of our Atlantic Division rivals.”
