Newark Mayor, NBA, NETS and Devils to Hold Press Conference

Will Discuss Nets Interim Relocation to the Prudential Center

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Newark Mayor Cory Booker, NBA Deputy Commissioner and COO Adam Silver, NETS Basketball CEO Brett Yormark, New Jersey Devils Chairman and Managing Partner Jeff Vanderbeek, and Newark Regional Business Partnership President & CEO Chip Hallock will hold a press conference to discuss the NETS’ interim relocation to the Prudential Center in Newark, beginning with the 2010-11 season, on Friday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at the Prudential Center.

The event will take place in the Verizon Tower in Prudential Center on the corner of Mulberry and Lafayette. YES Network’s play-by-play broadcaster for the NETS, Ian Eagle, will MC the event.

The NETS will also unveil their new marketing platform at the event.

NETS mascot Sly and several NETS Dancers will also attend the press conference.
