NETS Petro and Bogans to Participate in Karate Clinic
Clinic to be Held at Dojo Martial Arts in Rutherford, NJ
–Fourth Activity for NETS’ “Passport to Fitness” Initiative–

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—NETS players Johan Petro and Keith Bogans will participate in a karate clinic with 30 kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morris, Bergen, and Passaic counties for the NETS’ “Passport to Fitness” program TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 7 at Dojo Martial Arts.
Presented by Hackensack University Medical Center, “Passport to Fitness” encourages youngsters to participate in fun fitness and nutritional activities.
Every month during the NETS’ regular season, these 30 youngsters in the program, who range in age from 10 to 17, are participating in different activities as they learn various approaches on how to stay fit and healthy. So far this season, the students have participated in fitness, dance, and rock climbing clinics.
Participants in the program will receive a passport that will be stamped after each activity.
