NETS WAIVE JUMAINE JONES

East Rutherford, NJ–The New Jersey Nets have requested waivers on forward Jumaine Jones, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today.
The 6-8 Jones, who signed with the Nets on October 1, 2007, appeared in three preseason games, averaging 3.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
The Nets preseason roster now stands at 19.
