NETS and McDonald's to Hold Free Basketball Clinic in Brooklyn

–NETS Legend Darryl Dawkins to Help Lead Clinic for Kids Ages 6-14–

BROOKLYN—NETS Basketball and McDonald’s New York Metro are teaming to hold a free basketball clinic for kids between 6 to 14 years old at Dean Playground on Bergen Street, between Carlton Avenue and 6th Avenue in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn on Saturday, August 7 at 11:30 a.m.

NETS legend Darryl Dawkins will help lead the clinic.

This is one of five clinics being held by the NETS and McDonald’s New York Metro this summer.

In addition to the basketball instruction, participants receive a NETS t-shirt and a pair of tickets to a NETS home game during the 2010-11 season at the Prudential Center.  The NETS will also hold a series of competitions with select participants, with winners receiving player autographed basketballs and official NETS jerseys.
