NETS Basketball Forms Multi-Tiered Sponsorship Alliance with Lawns by Yorkshire
Lawns by Yorkshire Install a Putting Green for NETS Fans at IZOD CENTER
January 22, 2010

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.NETS Basketball has entered into a multi-tiered sponsorship alliance with Lawns by Yorkshire (www.lawnsbyyorkshire.com), a commercial landscape management firm that provides green and sustainable landscape and snow services throughout New Jersey and New York.

The newly integrated marketing alliance offers significant co-branding opportunities, while creating powerful business-to-business networking benefits for Lawns by Yorkshire. Additional business development opportunities will be added through membership in the NETS Chamber of Commerce, which is presented by Aflac. With nearly 500 companies in the NETS Chamber of Commerce, such as ADT, High Point Solutions, and Rymax, Lawns by Yorkshire will have the ability to extend its business platform through direct access to key industries.

This dynamic new partnership between Lawns by Yorkshire and the NETS (www.njnets.com) creates several innovative marketing programs, including the recent installation of the Lawns by Yorkshire Putting Green, which is available during NETS games at the IZOD CENTER, and which will offer fans the opportunity to showcase their putting skills in order to win prizes. The putting green will serve as a pre-game, in-game, and halftime gathering spot for season ticket holders and NETS sponsors. In addition, the NETS and Lawns by Yorkshire have developed the Greenest Fan contest that will involve fans providing environmentally-sound solutions to common problems, with winners awarded prizes on NETS Green Nights.

We are thrilled to welcome Lawns by Yorkshire into the NETS family of corporate partners, said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. This sponsorship will enable Lawns by Yorkshire to reach our extensive group of partners and season ticket holders as potential clients.

As the CEO of a commercial landscape management firm, it's my responsibility to grow the company, said Lawns by Yorkshire CEO Steven Jomides. Teaming up with the NETS is a smart business decision as it puts us in front of decision makers, presents us with unique opportunities, and helps usforge strategic alliances and smart partnerships. We view the NETS as our valued business partner."

With corporate headquarters in Westwood, NJ, and serving the greater New Jersey and New York markets, Lawns by Yorkshire will also be the presenting sponsor of the NETS Metropolitan Madness Basketball Challenge, which will offer the company extensive brand-building opportunities during the annual 5-on-5 basketball tournament for 64 companies at the PNY Center in March 2010.

Lawns by Yorkshire will also be the presenting sponsor of Football Night, which will be held when the NETS host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, January 31. The football-themed evening will include a chance for fans to take their photo with NETS Dancers, who will be dressed in football uniforms, as well to participate in a halftime on-court football skills competition in which the winner will win a special prize package.

As part of the sponsorship alliance and multi-media program, Lawns by Yorkshire will also receive in-arena signage, advertisement space on njnets.com, radio coverage during each game, as well as a feature highlighting the Eastern Conference standings on NETS radio broadcasts.
