NETS Basketball Hosts Jewish Family Night vs. Kings

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—NETS Basketball will host Jewish Family Night on Wednesday, March 24 when the NETS match-up against the Sacramento Kings, led by Israeli-born star Omri Casspi.
Jewish Family Night is presented by the Israel Ministry of Tourism and Migdal Ohr.
In celebrating Jewish heritage, the NETS will offer great entertainment, including a halftime performance by the Members of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir. HaZamir Conductor and Composer Noah Aronson will also perform the National Anthem with Jay Stolar, lead singer of the New Jersey based band, Julius C.
Adding to the evening’s flavor, glatt kosher stands will be available on the arena concourse.
In addition, the NETS will welcome Jewish celebrities to the game, including welterweight contending champion boxer Dmitriy Salita from Brooklyn, and NBA legend and Basketball Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes.
“We are happy to celebrate Jewish culture through music and other festivities, and to recognize the significant impact it has in the metropolitan area,” said NETS CEO Brett Yormark.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this historic event,” said Arie Sommer, Commissioner of Tourism, North and South America, for the Israel Ministry of Tourism.
The NETS are offering special ticket prices for as low as $18 per seat. Fans who purchase tickets through a NETS special ticket offer will receive a free Jewish Family Night t-shirt.
