EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Electronics Expo has been named presenting sponsor of the NETS Match-Up Ticket Plan, which was launched in mid-August and has become a nationally recognized ticket initiative.
With the NETS breaking their fully integrated Match-Up Plan marketing campaign this week, Electronics Expo, the high-end home entertainment electronics retailer based in New Jersey, will receive branding on all media platforms including television, print, radio, billboards, and online.
Electronics Expo will support the Match-Up Plan in its eight stores, all of which are located in New Jersey, in print advertising and at www.exponj.com.
The 10-game Match-Up Plan offers basketball fans the opportunity to see some of the hottest Match-Ups in the NBA while providing those ticket buyers the unprecedented opportunity to receive five NBA Match-Up reversible jerseys featuring star players for the NETS and other NBA teams.

In celebration of the Match-Up Plan, the NETS produced a television commercial, which will air during NFL, MLB, and NBA game telecasts and can be viewed at njnets.com. The team will also be releasing a Match-Up Plan theme song to be part of the NETS’ radio and social media campaign.
With the Plan, basketball fans will get to see the NBA’s best match-ups at the IZOD CENTER. The star-studded line-up includes Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, and the NETS as they take on Kobe Bryant and the 2009 NBA Champion Lakers, NBA MVP LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and the Cavaliers, Dwyane Wade and the Heat, Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and the Eastern Conference Champion Magic, and the Celtics’ trio of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.
For every two tickets purchased under the Match-Up Plan, fans will receive a dual-player reversible jersey – one side featuring a star opponent, the other featuring a NETS star, such as Devin Harris or Brook Lopez. The Match-Up Plan starts at $350 per plan. The Match-Up jerseys are only available with the purchase of the two Match-Up Plans and will be mailed to buyers’ homes.
The Match-Up Plan games include: Oct. 30 home opener vs. the Magic; Nov. 7 vs. the Celtics; Nov. 21 vs. the Knicks; Dec. 2 vs. Jason Kidd and the Mavericks; Dec. 19 vs. the Lakers; Jan. 2 vs. the Cavaliers; Jan. 27 vs. first pick in the 2009 NBA Draft Blake Griffin and the Clippers; Feb. 17 vs. the Heat; March 3 vs. the Cavaliers; and March 29 vs. newly acquired Richard Jefferson and the Spurs.
