March 1, 2011
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—Following the major acquisition of two-time NBA All-Star point guard Deron Williams, NETS Basketball this week has launched its Early Bird season ticket renewal period for the 2011-12 campaign for the team's final season in New Jersey. Fans who purchase NETS season tickets by April 11 will receive special discounted prices.
The NETS are also launching their completely integrated marketing campaign: PAST [PRESENT] FUTURE, which celebrates the team's unique history, their exciting direction, and their dynamic and boundless future. The PAST [PRESENT] FUTURE campaign will be widely featured through the NETS' 2011-12 final season at the Prudential Center via an integrated marketing campaign, which will include television, radio, print, outdoor, and digital platforms.
As part of the team's planned 2011-12 season-long celebration of its history in New Jersey, the NETS' season ticket renewal package will include a complementary commemorative book filled with details about the team's legendary players and its memorable moments.
"We have had many great seasons in New Jersey, most notably our back-to-back Eastern Conference Championships in 2002 and 2003," said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. "We appreciate the support of our loyal fans throughout the years and we look forward to commemorating our history in the Garden State during our final season here. Thanks to the great work of our general manager Billy King, we now have one of the best point guards in the NBA in Deron Williams, along with ample salary cap space and several high draft picks to continue to improve the roster. With committed ownership and the leadership of Head Coach Avery Johnson, we look forward to an exciting 2011-12 campaign and to a very bright future."
