NETS Offer Fans 50% Off Prices of Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages at Home Opener
Opening Night to Include Performance by THE MANHATTANS,
Launch of Kids Country, Introduction Video Featuring Fabolous
Also: New M&MS Candy and Merchandise Store

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJIts About Appreciating the Fans on Opening Night! During the NETS regular season opening home game match-up vs. Eastern Conference Champion Orlando Magic, led by Dwight Howard and Vince Carter, on Friday, October 30, the team will offer 50% off the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages at main concession stands at the IZOD CENTER.

In addition, the NETS will introduce a number of new initiatives and upgrades this season, including:

  • Kids Country presented by Nickelodeon -- Section 240 of the IZOD CENTER where an adult who buys a season ticket in this location for $15 per game will receive a free accompanying season ticket for a child 12 years old or under. This unprecedented offer includes special benefits for kids, such as:

    • Nickelodeon giveaways and prizes;
    • an official Kids Country gift pack;
    • in-game visits by NETS entertainment members such as the NETS Dancers, Team Hype, the NETS Kids dance team, and team mascots Sly and Mini-Sly; and
    • an invitation to a 2009-10 exclusive kids event.

  • M&MS candy and merchandise store on the concourse by Gate D will offer select Mars candy and NETS branded M&MS licensed merchandise.
  • Youth merchandise stand located on the concourse at Kids Country.
  • CURE is the new sponsor of the CURE Courtside Club, which is available for courtside season ticket holders and guests to enjoy hospitality and networking opportunities.
  • Improved menu and beverage selections in the Winners Club restaurant and bar.

All fans at the opening home game will receive a free magnet schedule before the game and a packet of new M&MS premium candy after the game. In addition, IZOD CENTER food provider ARAMARK will offer 50% off of select NETS hats by adidas at merchandise stands.

As part of the opening night in-game entertainment, the legendary musical group THE MANHATTANS will perform the National Anthem and perform during halftime. In addition, the NETS will debut their new introduction video, which will feature recording artist Fabolous and his song My Time.
