NETS Launch Chamber of Commerce Networking Platform
for Season Ticket Holders and Sponsors
East Rutherford, N.J.—The NETS Chamber of Commerce is being introduced for the 2009-10 season to provide season ticket holders and sponsors with extensive networking opportunities to drive their businesses ahead.
The NETS will offer season ticket holders and sponsors who choose to participate in the NETS Chamber of Commerce the opportunity to attend NETS Chamber events before, or at halftime of, NETS games at the IZOD CENTER. These events, which will be held in the High Point Solutions Business Center, will focus on business strategies and may include guest speakers from different areas of commerce and NETS executives. The NETS will facilitate at least 10 qualified introductory meetings for each Chamber member.
Additionally, NETS Chamber members will have access to a password protected area on njnets.com, which will provide a member directory and an updated schedule of Chamber events. A member directory catalogue will also be distributed to each member.
“One of the most important ways in which we can provide incremental value to our season ticket holders and sponsors is to offer a networking platform to drive their businesses forward,” said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. “The NETS Chamber of Commerce is a perfect opportunity to facilitate key introductions and generate business opportunities for our members, as well as to provide a forum for business education. While the Chamber is a new program for us, we have always performed as ‘connectors’ with our sponsors, and we are now including our season ticket holders to help propel their businesses. By creating a more formal networking program we anticipate the effectiveness of the networking opportunities we provide to grow significantly.
Continued Yormark: “We understand that NETS Basketball is more than just about sports and entertainment, it’s about business, as well. So as we are all being measured differently in this economy, this is another important way for season ticket holders and sponsors to justify their investment in NETS Basketball.”
