East Rutherford—Barclays, a leading global financial services company, will extend its partnership with the Nets to become the pre-season presenting sponsor of the team for the 2008-09 season.

Before the Buzzer presented by Barclays provides Barclays with brand exposure on all communications, including press banners at games and practices, press releases, email campaigns, www.njnets.com , in-game public address announcements, as well as all materials associated with basketball clinics, community programs, season ticket holder events, and ticket sales collateral. In addition, Barclays will receive courtside and LED signage during each of the three home pre-season games at the IZOD CENTER.

Before the Buzzer runs throughout the pre-season, beginning October 1st and ending October 29th when the Nets open their season on the road against the Washington Wizards.

In January 2007, Barclays and the Nets announced a multi-faceted strategic marketing partnership that included the 20-year naming rights to the Barclays Center, the Frank Gehry-designed sports and entertainment arena that will be the future home of the Nets in Brooklyn.
