NETS to Host Autism Awareness Night Nov. 7
–NETS Head Coach Lawrence Frank to Address 50 Kids
at Basketball Clinic at PNY Center Earlier in Day–

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJNETS Basketball will host Autism Awareness Night when the team plays the Boston Celtics on Saturday, November 7 at the IZOD CENTER.

A percentage of each ticket sold through Autism Awareness Night will benefit autism research, education, awareness, and advocacy. For ticket information or to order tickets, fans should contact Christie Freid of the NETS at 201-806-3776 or at cfreid@njnets.com.

During that afternoon, 50 kids with autism will participate in a basketball clinic at the PNY Center (NETS Practice Facility). The clinic will feature a special appearance by NETS Head Coach Lawrence Frank, who will address the group and sign autographs. The clinic will run from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m., and Frank will appear during the final half-hour.

The kids participating in the clinic are involved with the following organizations: Alpine Learning Group, Inc., Autism Speaks, Autism New Jersey, New Beginnings, Heartsong, Inc., and Eden II Programs.

The kids participating in the clinic will be guests of the NETS at that evening’s game.
