March 18, 2010
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.—NETS Basketball has launched its completely integrated marketing campaign, IT’S ALL NEW, which encompasses the team’s dynamic and exciting future, including its future interim home at the Prudential Center in Newark.
The IT’S ALL NEW campaign heralds a wave of dramatic team-changing announcements during the next four months -- from the pending new strategic partnership with Mikhail Prokhorov, to a new head coach, to potential off-season acquisitions, which could include the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft and marquee players from the most highly anticipated free agent class in NBA history.
The IT’S ALL NEW campaign will be widely featured through the NETS’ 2010-11 inaugural season at the Prudential Center via television, radio, print, and digital media.
The NETS have also launched their new micro-site, netsallnew.com, which will serve as a key source for announcements and will provide an opportunity for fans to comment on all the news, as well as interact with other fans.
“IT’S ALL NEW fully encapsulates the exciting direction of our team during the next few months,” said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. “This month alone we held a major press conference to announce our interim relocation to the state-of-the-art Prudential Center, and we also celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It’s clear that our story is extraordinarily compelling and I am confident our fans will see that our future is very bright.”
In addition, the NETS will continue to be very active in using social media to spread their brand and messaging. Fans can enter the IT’S ALL NEW Sweepstakes by going to Facebook.com/NetsBasketball.
