LAWRENCE FRANK NAMED
NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE
COACH OF THE MONTH

NEW YORK, April 19, 2007 – Lawrence Frank was named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Coaches of the Month, respectively, for April.

Frank guided the Nets to an Eastern Conference best 7-2 record, including a 4-0 home mark. The Nets won their last four contests to finish the regular season with a 41-41 record, good enough for second place in the Atlantic Division. New Jersey defeated Chicago 106-97 on April 18 to earn the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Lawrence Frank steered the Nets to a 7-2 record in April, earning him Eastern Conference Coach of the Month honors.
