Though Toko Shengelia (Georgia) and Ilkan Karaman (Turkey) were injured, two international Nets participated in FIBA EuroBasket 2013. Mirza Teletovic (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Bojan Bogdanovic (Croatia) traveled to help their home countries close out the tournament's final round in Slovenia.
Croatia finished fourth in the 24-team tournament, falling to Spain, 92-66 in the Bronze Medal Game on Sunday. Bogdanovic earned All-Tournament Team recognition, averaging 17.4 points and 4.1 rebounds during Croatia's run to the Semifinals. The First Round, consisting of six four-team groups each playing five games, began September 4th. The top three teams in each group advanced to Round Two; Croatia moved on while BIH fell just six points shy.
