Nets Dancer Audition Dates Announced
NYC Open Call - June 20, 6:00pm, City Center Studios, 130 West 56th St Between 6th & 7th
NJ Open Call - June 21, 11:00am, Nets Practice Facility, 390 Murray Hill Pkwy, E. Rutherford, NJ
Doors open for registration a half hour prior to audition start time & close at times noted above.
Must be 18 or older & have at least 8 years of technical dance training. Tumbling skills are a plus,
but not required. Wear fitted attire & dance shoes or non-marking sneakers. Come in
performance ready hair & makeup. Select dancers from each open call will be invited to final

Nets Dancer Hip Hop at Thrive Fitness
The Nets have partnered with Thrive Fitness in Edgewater, NJ to offer Nets Dancer Hip Hop on the first and third Saturday of every month from 10-11am. The class is taught by Nets Dancers Adar and Jaclyn, whose credits included performing with artists such as Diddy, LL Cool J, Rihanna, Eve, Ashanti, Ciara, and 50 cent. No dance background is required to get an incredible workout while learning the latest hip hop moves in this class. For more information, contact Thrive Fitness at 201-941-7333. Nets Dance Clinics – Sign Up Now!
Nets Basketball has announced dates for their 2008 Dance Clinics! There are two dates geared towards kids ages 6-13 and three dates for dancers ages 14+. Also, for the first time ever, a beginner hip hop class is being offered for adults of all ages who want to learn the hottest moves while getting a great workout with the Nets Dancers. In addition, this season the Nets will offer a five-day Nets Dancer Boot Camp for those who want the real Nets Dancer experience and an edge at this summer’s auditions. Nets Dunking Divas Debuted on February 20th
Trained by Nets mascot Sly the Silver Fox, the Dunking Divas wowed the crowd with their high flying, athletic dunks. The group is comprised of Nets Dancers Laura, Siobhan, Melody, Adar, Taylor, and Megan. Catch them again on March 12 and March 29 as the Nets take on Cleveland and Phoenix. View here

At the Nets vs. Timberwolves game on February 12, the Nets Dancers performed to “Shake Your Pom Pom” promoting the release of Disney’s Step Up 2 the Streets.
