PwC and the Brooklyn Nets have committed to planting one tree for every three-pointer made during All regular season home games

The Brooklyn Nets, New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a multinational professional services firm, are working together to make our community greener through "Trees for Threes." The Nets have committed to planting one tree for every three-pointer they make during regular-season home games.

The trees will be planted throughout Brooklyn with the help of Nets team members, NYRP and PwC employees. Together, we are enriching the areas where people live and work, helping to sustain the environment and provide green space for generations to come.

TREE GIVEAWAY May 15, 2017

The Brooklyn Nets teamed with PwC US and New York Restoration Project (NYRP) for the fourth consecutive year to give away trees to the Brooklyn community. The giveaway took place on Barclays Center's Resorts World Casino NYC Plaza. Former Nets player Albert King and members of the Brooklynettes and Team Hype made a special appearance at the event.

The giveaway took place at NYRP’s Gil Hodges Community Garden in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn. Former Nets player Albert King and members of the Brooklynettes and Team Hype made a special appearance at the event.

Trees for Threes - PS188 April 9, 2014

Former Nets players Kerry Kittles and Albert King, along with volunteers from the Brooklyn Nets, PwC US and New York Restoration Project, joined students from P.S. 188 Michael E. Berdy School to give away trees to community members as part of the team’s Trees for Threes program. The program donates trees for 3-pointers scored by the Nets this season at Barclays Center.

Green Week Tree Planting April 11, 2013

Brooklyn Nets players joined Green Team students from MS 51 to plant trees in their schoolyard. The ceremonial tree planting is a partnership between the Brooklyn Nets, PwC US, and New York Restoration Project and is a part of the team’s Trees for Threes program, which donates a tree for every 3-pointer scored by the Nets this season.
