PHILADELPHIA—With 9 minutes, 23 seconds remaining in Monday's 106-97 loss in Philadelphia, Nets point guard Deron Williams swished a free throw, scoring his 10,000th career point. He entered the game 23 points shy of the mark, and scored a game-high 27 to push his total to 10,004 by game's end. Fewer than 400 NBA players have reached the plateau.

Earlier this season, Williams logged his 5,000th career assist, and he is now the sixth-fastest player to achieve both marks. He ranks 56th in league history with 5,098 assists.
