TYLER HANSBROUGH

College: North Carolina

Class: Senior

Position: Forward

Height/Weight: 69 / 250

DOB: 11/3/85

Experts Predicted Draft Position: Late first to early second

Experts Take: Hansbrough is a warrior in the paint and outworks everyone else on the court. He is the type of player that is very physical and not afraid to do the dirty work. He consistently draws contact that gets him to the line and he has become a good free throw shooter for a big man. Still, he is undersized for a big man and is just an average athlete. His inability to score against bigger, longer players is a concern along with his limited upside. While his stock has significantly slid over the past year, he should go toward the end of the first round.

Player Information: In his senior season at North Carolina he averaged 20.7 ppg, and 8.1 rpg He holds many UNC, ACC and NCAA records Only player in NCAA history to be a four-time First Team All American Has the most free throws made in NCAA history (953) In the ACC he holds the record for most career points (2,789), most free throws made in a career (953), most free throws made, single season (304) and most career 20-point games (75) First freshman to be a unanimous All-ACC first team selection First player in ACC history to be unanimously selected four times to the ACC All-Conference TeamOne of only eight players in ACC history to compile 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds In 2008, he was the National Player of the Year, ACC Player of the Year, ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player and NCAA Tournament Regional MVP He is also the UNC career leader in points (2,789), rebounds (1,177) free throws attempted (1,200), free throws made (953), field goals made (912), double-figure scoring games (126) and 20-point games (75).
