Experts’ Predicted Draft Position: Consensus number one
Experts’ Take: He is the best player in college basketball this season and should be a lock for the No. 1 pick in the draft. He has an excellent combination of size, explosive athleticism and toughness that makes him an elite player on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Has the ability to face the basket and use the dribble to get to the rim and is very comfortable handling the ball for a post player. An excellent passer who has great vision to spot double teams quickly and find the unguarded teammate for open shots. His biggest weakness is on the defensive end, where he can be a bit indifferent, and he can improve the consistency of his jump shot as well as his foul shooting.
