BACKGROUND

Played on the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks summer league teams.

Finished career as the fourth-leading scorer in Southern Nazarene history with 1,822 points. Broke the school record for most three-pointers made in a career (248) and single season (95). Averaged 22.5 points as a senior, the second-best scoring average in school history. Named First Team NAIA All-America. Named 2001 Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Named NAIA Honorable Mention All-America as a junior.

As a senior, led SNU in scoring, assists (5.0 apg) and was second in rebounding (6.0 rpg). Led SNU in scoring 22 out of 31 games. Scored 20 ore more points 20 times. Topped 30 points on five occasions. His 676 points are the third-highest single-season total in school history.

Personal: Has an undergraduate degree in sports management/marketing and a master’s degree in education with emphasis on kinesiology. Completed his bachelor’s degree in 3 ½ years and his master’s in 1 ½. Deeply involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), talks to kids about the importance of getting an education. Also tutors. Off the court, enjoys playing golf, baseball, football and video games, and spending time with his wife Nancy. Played on an Athletes In Action touring team during the summer 2000 – he was the only NAIA player on the team. First in his family to graduate from college and complete a master’s program.
