BACKGROUND
Signed a 10-day contract on February 23, 2002 with the Memphis Grizzlies to fill in as a starter in four of the last five games for injured guards Jason Williams and Brevin Knight. Compiled a career high 20 points, five rebounds, seven assists in 28 minutes of play in NBA debut with the Los Angeles Clippers on Feb. 25. At the termination of his 10-day contract, was re-signed for the remainder of the 2001-02 season, averaging 5.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists in 23 total games, also shot 42% from the field and 31% from 3-point range.

Prior to the Grizzlies, Played 21 games with the Kansas City Knights of the American Basketball Association. He compiled 12.6 points, 6.8 assists, 2.6 steals, and 4.7 rebounds per game. Signed two consecutive 10-day contracts with the New Jersey Nets, scoring the 8 millionth point in NBA history.

Played two junior collegiate season at the College of Eastern Utah and Salt Lake Community College and two collegiate seasons at Weber State University (‘98-‘99) and ‘99-‘00).

As senior, averaged 16.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and conference high (Big Sky) 6.9 assists and 3.2 steals per game. Played and started in all 61 games at WSU and averaged 35.2 minutes per game. Participated in the Portsmouth Invitational Pre-Draft Tournament, Nike Dessert Classic, Rocky Mountain Revue (Toronto Raptors).

As a junior, averaged 14 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assist per game. Selected first team All-Big Sky. Most valuable player of the Big Sky Tournament and Big Sky Newcomer of the Year.

As a sophomore, averaged 16.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game at Sal Lake Community College. Selected as the Scenic West Conference Player of the Year.

As a freshman, averaged 10.4 points and 5.3 assists per game at the College of Eastern Utah.
