NBA FIT Live Healthy Week 2014
During NBA FIT Live Healthy Week, the entire NBA family – led by the NBA/WNBA FIT Team – will join celebrity chefs, community members, and partners to highlight the importance of healthy living.
The 2014 NBA FIT Team includes Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Tyson Chandler (New York Knicks), Al Horford (Atlanta Hawks), Ryan Anderson (New Orleans Pelicans), Brandon Bass (Boston Celtics), Wes Matthews (Portland Trail Blazers), Otto Porter (Washington Wizards), Greivis Vazquez (Toronto Raptors), Tamika Catchings (Indiana Fever), Nneka Ogwumike (Los Angeles Sparks) and Cappie Pondexter (New York Liberty).
Throughout the week, NBA and NBA Development League players will wear special oncourt attire, including red adidas NBA FIT shooting shirts and blue headbands and wristbands. The adidas shooting shirts will be available at NBAStore.com and the NBA Store Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Each day fans can check out healthy recipes from celebrity chefs and personalities Rachael Ray, Mario Batali, Marc Forgione, Dale Talde, Roble Ali, Bill Telepan, Candice Kumai and Ali Maffucci.
In an effort to encourage healthy eating, the league will team up with Walmart to launch NBA FIT Food with the first offering to feature oranges with NBA FIT-branded stickers and bags that will be on display at more than 3,600 Walmart stores across the United States.
Together with the First Lady’s Let’s Move! Active Schools, the NBA will launch the NBA FIT Challenge on Facebook and Twitter to encourage fans to sign up for the program. All registered schools will have the opportunity to win NBA FIT prizes.

The 2013-14 NBA/WNBA FIT Team consists of an all-star line-up of NBA players, WNBA players, Legends and Coaches.
