  • Morris Chestnut, Nuggets and Brian White, 76ers - These two found themselves atop the box office list for their smash hit, The Game Plan, also starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

  • Jamie Foxx, Kings - After receiving his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Kingdom opened to a wide audience filled with Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Chris Cooper fans.


  • Taye Diggs, Celtics - ABC looks to add to the success of Grey’s Anatomy with its own spin-off series Private Practice also starring Kate Walsh and KaDee Strickland.

  • Justin Timberlake, Mavericks - After his Futuresex/Loveshow concert performance on HBO, Justin rocked the stage at the MTV VMA’s with fellow artists Timbaland and Nelly Furtado. By the end of the night he had collected four Moon Men for Male Artist of the Year, Quadruple Threat, Best Choreography and Best Direction.

  • Ice Cube, Mavericks - His seventh album, Laugh Now Cry Later, dropped September 4 and features two songs with fellow NBAE veteran Snoop Dogg.

  • Chris Lloyd, Nets - Chris looks to continue his writing success with FOX's new show, Back to You, starring Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton premiering September 19.


  • Geoff Stults, Knicks - ABC has picked up a second season of October Road. Stults is currently working with Dennis Quaid on The Express.

  • Justin Timberlake, Mavericks - Has signed a joint venture with Interscope Records to start his own label called "Tennman Records" and will soon debut his new artist. Timberlake will serve as the Chairman and CEO of the company.


  • Tank, Kings - Is having his album release party in Hollywood, CA tonight. Tank is dropping his third album, Sex , Love and Pain and you can see the video premiere on 106 & Park today.


  • Ice Cube, Mavericks - Slated to start filming on First Sundays in Los Angeles this month.

  • Justin Timberlake, Mavericks - Doing a concert special for HBO from a taped performance that will take place at New York's Madison Square Garden on Aug. 16. It will air Sept. 3.

  • Ramon Rodriquez, Suns - Will star in a new FOX sitcom called Nurses for the fall season.

  • Terry Crews, Nets - His new movie Get Smart is in production, also starring Anne Hathaway, Steve Carell and The Rock.

  • Dejai, Nets and Romeo, Nets - KDAY radio personalities hosted The Los Angeles "Uplifting Minds II," a free National Talent Competition Showcase.

  • Columbus Short, Mavericks - Filming This Christmas also featuring Chris Brown, Mekhi Phifer, and Regina King.


  • Braxton Pope, Nets - Producing the feature film Life is Hot, written and to be directed by Buddy Giovinazzo starring Michael Rapaport, Nets and Victor Rasuk, Blazers. It also stars Kerry Washington, Illeana Douglas, RZA, Lara Flynn Boyle and Shannyn Sossamon.

  • Taye Diggs, Celtics - Signed on, along with Kate Walsh, for a Grey's Anatomy spinoff by creator Shonda Rhimes. Rhimes is preparing a two-hour episode for May to serve as the pilot. If the network approves, the spinoff will be considered for next fall's schedule


  • Bill Bellamy, Pistons - Set to host Last Comic Standing on NBC

  • Quddus Phillips, Trail Blazers - New correspondent for Extra on NBC will be covering the Grammys on Feb. 11 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA

  • Bow Wow, Hawks and Omarion, Clippers - Just wrapped up the Scream Tour 5 presented by BET which showcased Mario, Ne-Yo, Pretty Ricky, Yung Joc and Sammie. Rocsi & Terrence from 106 & Park hosted the concert

  • Don Cheadle, Celtics - Wrapped on Ocean’s 13, Talk to Me and Reign Over Me

  • Sylvian White, Bulls - Directed Columbus Short, Mavs and Brian White, Sixers in Stomp the Yard which has made over $55 million. You can also see Brian White in Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls, also starring Gabrielle Union

  • Ramon Rodriguez, Suns and Rick Gonzales, Knicks - Just wrapped on Pride and Glory, also starring Edward Norton and Colin Farrell
