It's Not the Shoes...

Jon Wilde, editor of Maxim, discovered that first hand when he played a game of one-on-one with WNBA superstar Swin Cash. Sporting a pair of new Adidas_1 Basketball shoes, Wilde took to the court against the Detroit Shock's All-Star forward.The shoes, and Wilde, proved no match for Cash, as she wond handily 11-1.

Retailing at $250, the new kicks seek to provide smart-cushioning by utilizing a comperssion gauge and microprocessor to alleviate any bumpy landings and to always lending the proper amount of soap... but apparently, they couldn't handle all of this "Shock" absorption.
