January 6, 2004 -- You know about the Sports Illustrated cover jinx and the Madden video game cover jinx. Meet the Men’s Fitness magazine jinx. Karl Malone, as diesel as ever, graces the cover of the magazine's current issue, and it just so happens the Mailman is gracing the Injured List for the first time in his 19-year career.

Once he mails in his current career, though, Malone is focused on another. In the accompanying article, Malone discusses his plans for life after basketball: “I’ll be the new action star one day. The Rock is good, but I’ll be great," he promised. "I want to do some kind of military movie where I rescue POWs or something like that. I need some kick-ass movies. I mean kick a lot of ass.”

And when he's done with Hollywood, maybe Kaaal, who's known to have an opinion or two, will follow in Aaanold's footsteps all the way to the state capitol.

But first he has to return to fitness.
