An "It" couple: NBA baller Quentin Richardson and recording star Brandy have been an item for about a year.

July 14, 2004 --Think a romantic date and a basketball game are mutually exclusive? Think again.

Quentin Richardson and recording artist Brandy Norwood have been dating for about a year and recently attended the 2004 BET Awards together. The couple switched venues Monday taking in some Southern California Summer Pro League (SPL) action together.

"I'm here hanging out with Q," Norwood told the Long Beach Press Telegram. "I love basketball, especially now that I'm dating a boy in the NBA. I love basketball even more. We are pretty solid."

Richardson, an SPL alum, agreed: "It's great to have everything I have and be able to share it with somebody who's experiencing the same thing I'm experiencing. At the same time, I am able to experience a lot of the things she goes through and what she has to offer. We have a great relationship."
