Lance? Sheryl? ... Uh, you do know there's a game going on?

May 3, 2004 -- There's a new IT couple on celebrity row at Staples Center: Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow.

The couple was seen cuddling courtside and not paying too much attention to the action of Game 5 of the Rockets–Lakers series. After months of gossiping, there can be no doubt now that the two are officially an item. Sitting courtside has become the popular “coming out” announcement for celebrity couples. Leonardo and Gisele, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Justin and Cameron, all "announced" their togetherness at NBA games. Is it the beer, the fine arena fare and bright lights that make the heart pitter patter? Or is it perchance to show up on the jumbotron?

Here's hoping Lance and Sheryl don’t meet the same fate as a former IT courtside couple ... Ben and Jen.
