A 1 ½-lifesize sculpture of John Stockton is set to take its permanent place outside the Delta Center following a ceremony Wednesday before the Jazz-Nuggets game. Stockton and his family will be in attendance, along with Jazz owner Larry H. Miller, team president Dennis Haslam, sculptor Brian Challis.

The eight-foot 800-pound statue will be placed on the South side of the Delta Center. It is one of a series by Challis originally commissioned by Miller in 2003.

A Challis statue of Karl Malone is set to join Stockton’s sometime next year.
