You can take Kenyon Martin out of the New York City area, but you can't take the metropolitan area out of K-Mart.
Martin is set to appear at The NBA Store on Fifth Avenue Saturday at 4 p.m. to participate in a Q & A session and sign autographs for children from the American Institute for Stuttering (AIS). Martin also invited the children and their guardians to attend Sunday's Nuggets-Nets game.
Martin has lent his support to AIS for the past two years as someone who has overcome this disorder. AIS is the only specialized, non-profit facility in the United States that offers state-of-the-art treatment for children, teens and adults who stutter while also providing clinical training for professionals.
