Nona Gaye will pay tribute to her late father by singing a duet with him of his 1983 All-Star performance.
February 5, 2004 -- Marvin Gaye became the catalyst for the now common pairing of popular music and national sporting events when he performed his revolutionary rendition of the National Anthem at the 1983 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

Twenty All-Star Games later, Gaye's daughter Nona will pay tribute to her late father by singing a "duet" with him as he performs his memorable interpretation as part of the musical entertainment at NBA All-Star Saturday Night. Using digitally enhanced video and re-mastered audio of her father’s performance, Nona will reunite with her father on center court for the soulful rendition.
