Pregame rituals don't only have to be for the players. Emmy Award-winner Ahmad Rashad gets fans ready for tip off of NBA TV's regularly-scheduled Tuesday night lineup as host of his NBA TV pregame show, Tuesday Night with Ahmad.

Featuring live guests, including NBA stars and celebrities, as well as in-depth stories and profiles, the show broadcasts regularly from NBA TV's studios in Secaucus, N.J. Last year, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Dwyane Wade, Gilbert Arenas and Tracy McGrady, as well as Academy Award-nominee Bill Murray were among the guests to appear with Rashad.

In addition to serving as the host of Tuesday Night with Ahmad, Rashad continues to host NBA Access with Ahmad Rashad, his real-life drama television series that airs each Sunday on ABC and re-airs on NBA TV throughout the week. As the host and executive producer of the series, Rashad, who recently returned from Europe where he covered NBA Europe Live, filing reports from NBA training camps in Barcelona, Moscow, Paris, Rome and Treviso, Italy, presents compelling NBA stories in a distinctive style featuring a first person perspective.

Rashad served 16 seasons as the host, executive producer and managing editor of the acclaimed NBA Inside Stuff. Since the 2003 NBA Finals, Rashad has hosted NBA TV: Live at the Finals. A six-time Emmy nominee in five different categories, Rashad also has brought his NBA expertise to the ESPN/ABC NBA team, reporting on lifestyle features and essays for both networks.

He has been in-studio for ABC Sports’ NBA pre-game show and was co-host of the network’s NBA Finals’ pre-game show in 2004 and 2005. In 2003, Rashad was named host for ABC’s top-rated reality show, Celebrity Mole. He gained national recognition for his on-air work with NBC Sports where he joined the network in 1983 as NFL commentator and host for NBC’s SportsWorld.
