NEW YORK, June 1, 2006 – NBA TV will unveil the top 10 Greatest Playoff Moments in NBA History from the past 60 years when The 60 Greatest Playoff Moments: The Top 10, airs on Tuesday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Andre Aldridge will host this half-hour special that will present the final results of fan voting conducted on NBA.com to rank the top 10 moments from the 60 Greatest Playoff Moments in NBA History. ESPN will re-air the special on Thursday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The special will feature a segment on each moment, including interviews with the players involved in the event, as it counts down the top 10 moments. It also will include a recap of moments 60-11.

A panel of basketball experts, comprised of high-profile print, Internet and broadcast journalists, as well as NBA legends, were invited to select the 60 Greatest Playoff Moments in NBA History. The panelists’ selection of the top 10 moments was then posted on NBA.com in chronological order beginning on Wednesday, May 24, and fans have been voting on the site to help rank them as they see fit up until Sunday, Monday, June 5.

The 60 Greatest Playoff Moments in NBA History expert panel includes 11-time NBA champion with the Boston Celtics and Hall of Famer Bill Russell; six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls and ABC/ESPN studio analyst Scottie Pippen; two-time NBA champion, Hall of Famer and ABC/ESPN analyst Bill Walton; TNT play-by-play announcer Marv Albert; USA Today writer David DuPree; Sports Illustrated writer Jack McCallum and ESPN.com writer Bill Simmons as well as many others.

Along with the top 10 moments, NBA.com has featured a complete recap of the NBA’s greatest playoff moments ranked 60-11 by the expert panel. The top 10 moments, which were selected by the panelists and which the fans have been helping to rank, include:
