NBA TV News In Review, is a half-hour program that takes a look back at the top recent stories from around the NBA, WNBA, and D-League. Stay up to date on the latest happenings around the league as host Cristina Fernandez reports on trades and transactions, recent award winners, D-League and WNBA info, while also providing exclusive access to the league's teams and players, NBA Cares initiatives and news on NBA TV programming and NBA.com content. Season 2 airs every other Saturday on NBA TV, premiering on Nov. 3, 2007.

The season premiere of NBA TV News in Review first takes a look at the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. You'll go inside Gregg Popovich's training camp practices, and then experience the thrill of opening night's ring ceremony.
Then we head to New Orleans, where NBA Cares announced initiatives to help rebuild New Orleans. The Sacramento Kings are in town for their opening night game against the Hornets, and arrive a day early to participate in a Read to Achieve event.

The post season is in full swing and several teams have proven in their upsets of higher seeded teams that anything can happen in the NBA Playoffs. The Dakota Wizards won the D-League championship and fans can watch their exciting run to the title. Viewers can also recap the post season awards that have been given since the season's conclusion.
Moving on to the WNBA, viewers can take a look at the rookie orientation that all WNBA draftees attend. The orientation prepares the incoming players with lessons that will help them in their transition into professional basketball. WNBA fans can also take a look at the effort made by Team USA's women's basketball team to rebound from their disappointing showing in their last international competition
In the NBA Playoffs there are currently 41 players who have played in the D-League. One notable player is the Mavericks' Jose Barea. The speedy point guard was sent down to gain some experience and he didn’t disappoint, in he came back to his team a much better player.

The San Antonio Spurs won their fourth NBA title since 1999, and after their sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated as all champions do with tons of champagne. Their loyal fans back in San Antonio also took part of the celebration, honoring the team with a parade.
The Detroit Shock has also seen its share of parades winning several WNBA Championships. Part of that success has been due to their fiery leader, Bill Laimbeer. This season Laimbeer has also brought on board another tough competitor in former "Bad Boys" teammate Rick Mahorn. Together, they hope to continue the Shock's success.

Being hailed as one of the most anticipated drafts in years, the 2007 NBA Draft did not disappoint. There were a lot of exciting choices and transactions that took place and NBA TV News was there with exclusive access.
One of the WNBA's greatest players, Lisa Leslie, took off a season so that she could take care of her firstborn child. Adjusting to her new role as a mom, Leslie took some time to share what the transition has been like.
The dream of making the NBA is often a difficult one to make a reality. Even the most highly touted prospects such as Kevin Durant have to compete in gruelling workout excerises in order to evaluate their talent. The WNBA All-Star Weekend in Washington, D.C. was a great experience for all parties invovled. Fans got to see their favorite players from around the league play with each other and the players got to display some their talents against top competition.
During the events, U.S. Sec. of State Condoleeza Rice was honored with the WNBA 2007 Inspiration Award.
In the summer leagues, there were plenty of excitement and optimism over the young new faces of the NBA showcasing their talents. One of the more exciting players has been Denver Nuggets head coach Geogre Karl's son Coby.
