SECAUCUS, N.J., Aug. 27 -- NBA TV -- the league's 24-hour television network -- will present the exclusive live telecast of the 2003 Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., on Friday, Sept. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Legendary NBA announcer Marv Albert will serve as master of ceremonies. It is the first event ever televised from the new 80,000-square-foot, $45 million complex and the first time broadcast live on NBA TV.

NBA TV is providing an all-access pass for fans to witness some of the most celebrated players, coaches and contributors in basketball history, a Who's Who list highlighted by the Class of 2003 that features two of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History -- Boston Celtics center Robert Parish and Los Angeles Lakers forward James Worthy -- Italian superstar Dino Meneghin, famed Louisiana Tech women's coach Leon Barmore, African-American basketball pioneer Earl Lloyd, the late Los Angeles Lakers broadcasting icon Chick Hearn and Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon.

Former NBA greats Bill Walton, Dave Bing, Jerry West and Bob McAdoo, along with NCAA coaching legends Dean Smith and Pat Summit, are among an elite group of Hall of Famers who will present the Class of 2003 for enshrinement.

NBA TV's coverage of the event can be seen in 29 countries. Additionally, the ceremony will be carried live in streaming video on NBA.com through NBA Inside Ticket , NBA.com's broadband subscription package. NBA Inside Ticket will archive portions of the ceremony for viewing on-demand.
