NBA TV has launched a new weekly feature with TV personality and Olympic swimming gold medallist Summer Sanders called "NBA Buzz with Summer Sanders."

Summer's weekly features, reported on from NBA TV's Newsroom and comprised of content from the popular NBA Buzz on NBA.com, which is e-mailed to more than 600,000 subscribers every day, are designed to showcase the NBA's growing connections with the world of show business.

Fans can expect to see film clips, photographs, magazines, behind-the-scenes footage and other content covering everything from appearances of NBA players on talk shows, in Hollywood movies, as guests on network primetime series, in magazines, to celebrities appearing at games and other pop culture-related hoops news and gossip.

Summer Sanders is co-host of NBA Inside Stuff on ABC, a position she has held since December 1997, where she works in the studio and travels the country to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the players and personalities of the NBA and WNBA. Summer has completed hosting the second season of ESPN's “Beg, Borrow and Deal” and people throughout the country also know her as the hip and funny host of Nickelodeon's hit game show for kids, Figure it Out. Summer has worked as a correspondent for EXTRA! covering the 2003 World Series, for NBC at the 2002 Winter Olympics and is currently host of a syndicated Olympic show, U.S. Olympic Gold. Summer had previously joined the staff at NBC’s Today Show as correspondent for the 2000 Olympic Games and continues to be a guest reporter for The Today Show. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Summer emerged as the most decorated U.S. swimmer, winning two gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal. In two years at Stanford, she compiled six individual NCAA titles and four relay championships.
