NBA TV Screening Room, a documentary series airing on the NBA’s 24-hour television network, premiered Sunday, Jan. 25 2004 with the presentation of the 2000 Emmy Award-winning film, Whatever Happened to Micheal Ray?

This captivating film chronicles the life of Michael Ray Richardson, a player drafted 2 spots ahead of Larry Bird in 1978, and looks at his rise and fall in the NBA, as well as his eventual triumph over many of his demons.

Since then, this exciting original series, hosted by Ian Eagle, has continued to air amazing films such as NBA at 50, Bill Russell: My Life, My Way and Hooked: The Legend of Demetrius “Hook” Mitchell.
