PHILADELPHIA, April 10 (AP)-- Philadelphia guard Andre Iguodala sat out Tuesday night against Indiana with a strained lower back and will miss the 76ers' game at Boston on Wednesday.

Iguodala had a streak of 232 straight regular-season starts to start his three-year career snapped because of the same injury last month. He will visit a doctor on Wednesday morning and coach Maurice Cheeks said the Sixers' leading scorer will not make the trip to Boston.

"I'd say it's worse now,'' Iguodala said. "Before, I could block (the pain) out. Now, I notice it when I play.''

Iguodala, who first hurt the back in a game against San Antonio in December, leads the Sixers with 18.3 points and has three triple-doubles this season. Iguodala said he would like to play against Orlando on Saturday, but would not rush back with the Sixers out of the playoff race.

"It's remarkable Andre has made it this long without being injured,'' Cheeks said.

The Sixers were already without forward Kyle Korver (sprained wrist) for the second straight game and forward Rodney Carney (sprained knee) also sat out.
